  Notes	The following are thought to refer to this individual although the age doesn't match*. 1930 United States Federal Census (indexed as MINTERS by Ancestry): in Greenville, South Carolina (all MINTER), Luther C (head, 41, married at 28, born Virginia, dentist), Louise (wife, 37, married at 24, born S Carolina), Ann (daughter, 10, born S Carolina) and Miller (7, born S Carolina). 1940 United States Federal Census: in Greenville, South Carolina (all MINTER), Luther C (head, 51, born Virginia, dentist), Louise M (wife, 47, born S Carolina), Louise A (daughter, 20, born S Carolina) and Luther Mills (17, born S Carolina). * It appears that for some reason Luther assumed his birth to have taken place in 1888, even though the 1900 census indicates April 1882. The headstone which probably relates to Luther is quite specific, giving a birth date of Sept 25 1888. The stone is inscribed D.D.S.
