  Notes	The IGI has Thomas's birth as 'about 1778', Alphamstone. The IGI has another Thomas Minter of Alphamstone born about 1775, wife 'Mrs Mary Minter'. Neither of these has been found in the Alphamstone register of baptisms online at SEAX. However, it seems likely that Thomas was the son of Thomas Minter and Sarah (Montague), who had 5 other children baptised at St Barnabas, Alphamstone. 1841 census: in Crockleford Road, Ardleigh, Essex, Thomas (60, ag lab), Susan (50), Henry (25, ag lab) and Thomas (15, ag lab). The Mary Minter (20, independent) living at Water Mill House, Ardleigh with some Tuke children must have been Henry's wife. 1851 census: in Crockleford Heath, Ardleigh, Essex, Susan (widow, 68, 'pauper ag lab wid'), Henry (son, widower, 39, ag lab) and Thomas (son, 30, ag lab). As Susannah, Susan probably died in Q4 1855.
