    • Farmer, lived at Blackthorn Farm, Diss, Norfolk. Also weaver.

      Richard made a Will on 17 December 1796. It can be viewed online at www.norfolksources.norfolk.gov.uk. The Will was made by Richard 'of Yaxley...weaver'. His two sons William Muskett Minter and Richard Minter were named as executors. A third executor was described as 'my loving brother William Muskett of Newton Hall ... Norfolk' - it's not clear whether this was a reference to Richard's brother-in-law. Richard's wife having died, the beneficiaries of the Will were his 3 children, William Musket Minter, Richard Minter and Mary Minter (upon reaching the age of 24), in equal shares. The witnesses were George Taylor, Thos. Garrood and William Cattermole. The Will was proved on 18 May 1813 with administration granted to Richard Minter (and power reseved for William Musket Minter).
