Notes |
- Philip was originally Philip MINTZ, born in Poland, the son of Izrael Icek MINTZ (born 1875, Przasnysz, Poland) and his (first) wife Malka Sura GOTTES. Philip's younger sister Eva was born in London in May 1902 and younger brother Joseph in 1905, suggesting the family moved to England between 1900 and 1902 but I can't find the family in the 1911 census or any trace of Eva's and Joseph's birth registrations.
Philip was a member of a large family which is documented at http://www.kehati.co.il/makower/MINC1.htm
A lot of information has been taken from that website for use here.
