Married:
- Married by licence. William Minter, 29, bachelor, second steward P&O Co of 63 Church Street, Kensington, father George Edward Minter, stationer. Lilly Elworthy, 44, widow* of 85 Semdeoon(?) Road, Croydon, father Robert Hay deceased, master mariner. Witnesses Ernest William Line and Walter Richard Bowden.
* as far as I can see, Lilly (not her proper name) wasn't previously married.
According to Gladys Vickers, William married a stewardess, lived in Bexleyheath and had no children. This is borne out by his marriage certificate - see above.
