The above was supplied by Helen Brown and was
originally published on 19 October 1951 in the Cambridge
Independent Press and Chronicle. The date of marriage is given as October 19 1891 - they actually married in 1892 so either the newspaper got the date wrong or Jesse and Rosanna celebrated their diamond wedding a year early.

Victor was a casualty of WW1. He died aged 18 while serving in
The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment), 51st Bn.

Sarah Ann Minter nee Stebbing with her daughter Esther Louise and son Nathan. The picture appears to have been taken on 7 May 1913, the day of the wedding of Charlotte Emily Durrant and James Saunders (see below). By this date both Esther and Nathan were married (and Esther already widowed). Esther is holding her brother Nathan's son, Nathan.

This picture was in a collection owned by Helen Brown's grandfather David Minter. It shows Helen's maternal great-grandmother Jane Skee nee Armstrong. The little girl
is Catherine Skee who married David Minter.

Arthur George William Minter

This picture, supplied by Pearl Kedge, was taken about 1900. It is apparently of four aunts of Arthur George William Minter. They all originated from Boyton and were believed to have lived in Turners Place, Ipswich.
