  Notes	The following information was provided by Geoff Knott in December 2012: Eleanor was born on 19 November 1909 in Petersfield. She was baptised on 7 January 1910 in Petersfield at St Peter's Church. From 1939 to 1945 she was in the Women's Royal Naval Service . In 1960 (approx.) she was resident in Petersfield at Swan Street. In 1964 (approx.) she was resident in Petersfield at Flat, Lynton Road. From 1966 to 2 September 1981 she was resident in Petersfield at 31 Borough Hill. In her will, she left the property to Eileen Knott. She died on 2 September 1981 in Petersfield. March 2025: From Geoff Knott, after contacting the probate department: "Nell (Eleanor May) made a will 21 May 1977 leaving "to Iris Daisy Butler and Miss Molly Sullivan the sum of £1000 for taking and looking after any dog or dogs I may have at my death." (All the time that I knew her, she had Pomeranians.) She appointed Mum as executor and also left "unto Mrs William Knott my freehold cottage and contents of 31 Borough Hill Petersfield Hampshire Also any money left after expenses have been paid." So that's the story of how Mum (Eileen Ivy Knott) and Dad (William George Knott) moved from 34 Cranford Road, Petersfield, to 31 Borough Hill."
