- As Dorothy Minter, Dorothy was baptised on 1 November 1901 on the same day as two other children. The address of all three was the same, 41 Jeffreys Road. Dorothy's parents were shown as John & Louisa, he a soldier. When she married in 1922, Dorothy gave her father's name as Henry Clow deceased.
41-43 Jeffreys Road was the address of the Clapham Maternity Hospital, opened in 1889 by Dr Annie McCall. The building was destroyed in WW2.
