  Notes	Per the JTW tree, John and Rebecca had two children, Edmund (1837) and Thomas (1840). 1841 census: in Chalfont St Giles (all PAYNE, all born in County except John), John (20, chair maker), Rebecca (30), Edmund (4) and Thomas (1). Apparently at the same address but a separate household was Sarah PAYNE (50, lace maker, born in County). John remarried after Rebecca died and appears in later censuses. In 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891 his birthplace was shown as 'NK'. He appears to have died in 1895 aged 86. Perhaps he really didn't know where he was born.
