| Notes |
- It's not know when Samuel brought his family from Tasmania to England but it must have been between 1834 (when his daughters were baptised) and 1845 (when Susanna married George Edward SCOTT).
1851 census: at 17 East Street, Drypool, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, Samuel LUCAS (head, 49, fund holder, born Ireland), Marie J LUCAS (wife, 42, born Naples, British Subject), Rebecca LUCAS (daughter, 16, straw bonnet maker, born Van Dieman's Land), John E SCOTT (grandson, 5, scholar, born Hull, Yorkshire) and George SCOTT (grandson, 3, born Hull, Yorkshire).
1861 census: in Prior Street, Drypool, Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire, Samuel LUCAS (head, 59, out door officer HMB, born Ireland), Marie J LUCAS (wife, 53, born Saxony, British Subject) and George L SCOTT (grandson, 13, scholar, born Hull, Yorkshire). John SCOTT not found.
Marie died in 1866. I haven't found Samuel after 1861.
