This was his address when he got engaged to Margot Fulton, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs F W Fulton, The Ship Inn, Arbroath. The Times (London, England), Tuesday, Sep 24, 1963; pg. 13; Issue 55814: DOCTOR CHARGED WITH THEFT George Lewis Minter, aged 36, medical practioner, was remanded in custody for a week yesterday by Bath Magistrates, charged with stealing a wallet and £3 the property of a surgeon, Mr S Glazer. Detective-sergeant K Brownsell said that on September 20 he went to the Royal United Hospital, Bath, with Detective-Inspector Whitmore. Minter denied all knowledge of the wallet, which later they found in a freshly-laundered shirt. Minter then said "I give up. You have got me," said the officer, adding that further charges would be preferred. Minter had been dismissed from the hospital.
