WEDDING BELLS.
McNEIL—TINSLEY.
The marriage of the popular Mr.
"Jim" M'Neil, foreman blacksmith at
Cave Hill, Lilydale, with Miss Emily
Tinsley, of Hawthorn, was celebrated
on Wednesday afternoon, with al due
pomp and ceremony, at the residence of
the bride's sister (Mrs. Hamblin). the
celebrant parson being the Rev. J. W.
Crean. The bride's dress was a very
pretty cream voile, trimmed with silk
and lace, and handsomely flounced with
cream guipure lace, and a beautiful
veil, crowned with orange blossom, was
worn. The bridesmaid (Miss Florrie
Hamblin) was nicely attired in cream
voile, and wore a white hat, trimmed
with chiffon and roses and chiffon
streamers. The bridegroom was supported
by Mr. Bert Cook, and the
bride was given away by Mr. F. W.
Perrin. "After the ceremony about 30
invited guests sat down at the wedding
breakfast-, the usual toasts being
honofred. The party was afterwards
photographed by Mr. R. Oliver. Mr.
and Mrs. M'Neii left by the 6 p.m.
train for their honeymoon, and quite a
number of friends assembled at the
station to express -their good wishes in
the time-honored fashion. Mrs M'Neii
wpre a travelling dress of sea green
voile, trimmed with cream silk, and a
cream straw hat, prettily trimmed with
pink roses and chiffon. The auspicious
event was further celebrated in the
evening at Mrs. Hamblin's house, when
the friends of the young couple spent
very enjoyable few hours together.
